Testimonials

"I feel that if more people knew of your services, and had some feedback, it would help with the move for both the dog/cat and owners, because you give a great service with lots of communication and pictures for us owners. Ziggy is a dog that is used to lots of one on one with people he knows, which the quarantine staff just don't have the time to give being so very busy with the day to day running of the station, and without your team's input, treats and walks he would have struggled to get through the 30 days, so thank you."   Ziggy's owner, Jackie

Here are some of the questions most frequently asked of Dog Walks:

  • Can you tell me more about the payment process?
Of course. You have three methods to pay: via PayPal; by cheque; or bank transfer. All payment instructions can be found on our Payments Page.  We ask that payment be received by us one week before the arrival of your dog into Australian Quarantine so do bear this in mind if not paying by PayPal - cheques and bank transfers do take several days to process. All payment amounts quoted are in Australian Dollars.

  • What email authorisation do I need to send to the Quarantine Station?

  • Where are the dogs walked?

Dogs are taken from their individual kennels to the exercise facilities on site at the quarantine station

  • How long is each walk?
Dogs are walked and exercised for 30 - 45 minutes per session. This is dependent on the specific regulations of each quarantine station. Each walk is individual by kennel so you are sure that your pet is receiving our full care and attention.

  • Can you tell me more about the brush and groom service you provide?
Your dog will be fully brushed once per week to ensure that all loose hair is removed and your dog's coat is tangle free. We will also check your dog's ears, teeth and eyes to ensure they are healthy and clean. A full bathing and clipping service may be arranged separately. Contact us to discuss.

  • Do you offer any services for cats?
Obviously cats do not need walking in the same way as dogs. However, they may still need grooming or just a little company. Many of our dog walkers are also cat owners and lovers. Have a look at our Cat Cuddles page or contact us if you have a cat coming into quarantine that you would like us to arrange a bespoke package for.

  • I do not have anyone to act as "Importer" for my dog? Can you help?

Yes we can. The fee for us to perform this service is A$ 75 to cover which includes any necessary administration. Contact us directly for further information and to arrange.

  • I cannot collect my dog for several days after his quarantine period. Can you suggest anything?

We may be able to help. Contact us directly for details and information on nearby kenneling facilities or other solutions.

  • I do not live near the quarantine station and need a pet transporter. Can you help?

Again, contact us directly for help in this area.

If you do not see the information you need on this page, please do get in touch with us directly and we will be happy to help you.

Good Evening,

Well it feels that summer has finally come to Australia! Well in Queensland anyway we had 29 degrees today and I was forced to change my UGG boots! How does it go from needing boots and jumpers to baking overnight? And Spring only officially started yesterday! Strange but fantastic. Bring back the warmth I say! Mind you, it is sunny all year round so we can't complain, can we :). What it does mean though is that we need to start thinking about making our pups more comfortable in the heat. The season of short haircuts and frequent hosedowns is not far away.

And as always, lots more new arrivals so don't forget to look at our gorgeous furry friends' faces on the gallery.

Take care for now,

Karen
